Introduction
This is a test about interoperablity. The test used is conectathon 2004. Hardware configurations are:
- For Linux machines: 2x Intel Xeon machines, 1GByte RAM and 2x 64 bits RISC machines with 1GByte RAM
- For non-Linux machines: 2x 64 bits RISC
Connectathon test results
Linux client
| Machines | non-Linux 32 bits server | non-Linux 64bits server |
| Linux ia32 server | OK* | OK* |
* General tests can not be performed because our non-Linux test machine does not have any compiler to do the compiling tests
Performance tests (Iozone)
Performance comparison between non-Linux and Linux NFSv4 servers
Command used: ./iozone -+q 1 -ace -r 32 -f /mnt/nfs/testio
Iozone performance test compares two cases:
- Case 1: PPC64 non-Linux client and Linux ia32 server
- Case 2: Linux PPC64 client and Linux ia32 server
